I went with Nigel and Raj to check out guitars the other day.
I can't afford a new fancy guitar, so the best I can do is get a new set of strings.

Did I tell you?? Did I tell you? I got myself a new guitar whilst in America (where I still am, just updated blog) look at a Gibson Songwriter Deluxe, it's just plain HOT.
And if I have some excuse (i.e. Ronan gets paid to do el giantos next year or you need someone to 'help' some week, cough) and I bring my guitar cos I was somewhere else with it before - or on the way home for church the next morning....
Then I'll show ya and let ya have a go. The way it sounded in the 'store' thru its Fishman pickup and thru a Fishman amplifier (gak.co.uk has them) was unbeeeelievable. After breaking five Gs and one A it obv doesn't have the same set; though Gibson Masterbuilt strings only cost $6.50 here, which is nice.
