On easter Tuesday Jo and I decided to take a little drive. The plan was simple; find a nice country pub, preferably in the Republic of Ireland and enjoy a nice meal and a long drive.
We drove to (London)Derry and then headed on north west. We passed Letterkenny and kept going. I was hoping we'd make the shore, but after an hour's travel from Derry we hadn't made it, furthermore we had no concept of our position.
Deciding that the coast must be still too far away we got a cheesy from some kind of indian fast food place and retreated.
When we got back I took a look at a map of our journey, we were about 5 miles from the beach!
